Mrs Donna Baxter
I attended St. Stephen School and De Sales High School up to my junior year in high school, then transferred to Geneva High and graduated in 1977. I fondly remember my elementary teachers and my current classroom was my 3rd grade classroom with Mrs. Annony.
I am recently retired from the Geneva City School District after 33 years in education. My career began in Seneca Falls as a Special Ed teacher for students in grades 3-5. Then I came to Geneva and continued teaching Special Ed for primary students. As I furthered my learning, I was Reading Recovery trained and certified. From then I taught 1st grade before moving to 2nd grade then finally worked as an AIS teacher for students in K-2.
I love being with kids. I love teaching. I love to help each child learn something new and to open the world of books and good literature to them.
I grew up in Geneva with 4 sisters and 1 brother. I have been married to my best friend, Gary for 36 years. We have raised 2 young men, Thomas and Gordy. Gordy is married to Stacey and they have two wonderful children, Carson and Hugh.
