Have you met… Mrs. Caster

Greatest Trait:  I think I am a hard worker with a good sense of humor.  I love our school!

Values Most in Others:  I like it when people are comfortable to just be themselves and do the best they can.

Favorite Place in Geneva:  I love Seneca Lake.  It is beautiful and calming in all seasons.

Favorite Thing about SF-SSS:  My favorite thing about SF-SSS is all of the people that make our school the wonderful place that it is – the students, their families, the faculty and staff, the priests, and all of the people who support us.  We really are like a big family that shares many faith and learning experiences together.

Favorite Part of Teaching:  I love watching students grow in knowledge and confidence, and every day is a new day.

Least Favorite Part of Teaching:  The paperwork. (Students aren’t the only ones who don’t love homework!)

Favorite Thing to Do in her Free Time:  I loooove to read! I just love a good book, and you can read anytime, anywhere!!!  I also like to cook (but I don’t love the clean up!)

Favorite Book:  Bridge to Terebithia is a beautiful story of friendship.  I also like reading books that students recommend.

She Collects:  I love to collect Snoopy stuff!  I have quite a collection both at home and in school!

Favorite Color:  Purple.

Favorite Food:  Macaroni and meatballs.

Favorite Song:  It’s a tie.  I love Neil Diamond’s “Forever in Blue Jeans” and Billy Joel’s “My Life”.  My former students would suggest “YMCA” and “I Will Survive” because they have heard me sing them at dances!

Favorite Movies:  The King and I,  Snoopy Come Home, Mamma Mia, The Proposal,  and Shall We Dance?

Favorite TV show:  Movies on the Hallmark Channel,  America’s Got Talent, Dancing with the Stars, and Blue Bloods.

Goal in Life:  To be the best that I can be and to (hopefully!) make a difference.
